Eleanor A. Fountain Aug. 4, 1917 - June 25, 2008 Former Resident of Martinez Eleanor Fountain, 90, passed away in Stockton on June 25, 2008. Born in Montana, she was raised in Lodi, California. She was a resident of Martinez for 60 years, where she lived with Robert, her husband of 58 years, before his death in 1998. She moved to Stockton in 2000, where she lived at O'connor Woods until her passing. Mrs. Fountain was a member of the First Congregational Church of Martinez, where she served on the Deaconate, a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter GX, and Contra Costa Golf Club. She was active in the Martinez Music Forum, Martinez Historical Society, and Muir Branch of the Children's Hospital of the East Bay. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Allred of Roseville, Roberta Alvarez of Salinas, and her granddaughter Michelle Riojas of Stockton. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 19, at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Martinez. Arrangements by Oakmont Memorial Park & Mortuary.
